Geissel stands for responsibility, tradition and innovation. We have been an owner-managed family business since 1919 and are now in our fourth generation. Over 140 motivated and qualified employees worldwide take care of the flexible and reliable production of customer-specific parts. Geissel manufactures in two locations. In Germany and India.
Geissel’s more than 100-year history stands for tradition and responsibility, for the present and the future.
We not only focus on developing our own products; we are also happy to support you in your project phase. Our product development takes on every challenge – we make a hobby out of innovative solutions.
Our employees shape our company and vice versa. Commitment and passion at work, workshops and trainee projects, company parties and excursions are what bond us together. CIP and Kaizen help us to improve together.
We are convinced that diverse teams provide better solutions and make us more successful. Every employee, regardless of any differences, deserves the same appreciation. We stand by this conviction.
We communicate our actions and reasons for them openly and clearly, because we want our employees to trust us and have the conviction to help us develop our company. Internal audits continuously scrutinise our processes, visualise them and allow us to become better and better.
Regular investments in new production facilities with low energy consumption and ISO 14001 certification are just as much an integral part of our internal environmental policy as responsible use of paper, water and electricity in our everyday work. Our goal is to be completely climate-neutral in the not too distant future.
As a successful family business, we take the social responsibility of the company and the environment very seriously. Not only have we been actively involved in local projects and institutions for years, but we also recognise the ZVEI Code of Conduct for social responsibility .
The in-depth training of young people, which we have been successfully promoting for over 70 years, is very important to us, as is the balance between work, family and private life. That is why we have had our family- and life-stage oriented human resources policy certified .
